Potato Nuggets are very popular Kid’s favorite snack. Next time without buying them from the store make these awesome tasting nuggets at home and feed your family.

Serves – 2-3
Ingredients:
Potato (boiled, peeled ) – 2 no or 270gms
bread Crumbs – 1 Tbsp
Corn Starch – 1 Tbsp
Dry Chili Flakes – 2 tsp or to taste
Dry Italian Herb seasoning – 1/2 tsp
Garlic (grated – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 3/4 tsp or to taste
Nutmeg (grated) – pinch
Cheese (grated) – 1 Tbsp

Slurry:
All Purpose Flour – 2 Tbsp
Corn Starch/ Corn Flour – 2 Tbsp
Fresh Bread Crumbs – 1 Cup
Salt and pepper – to taste
Water – 1/2 Cup or as required

Oil – for deep frying

Process:
Grate boiled potato in a mixing bowl.
Add bread crumbs, corn starch, salt, garlic, italian herbs, chili flakes, nutmeg powder, processed cheese.
Mix well until combined.
Cover and keep aside.

Slurry:
Into a shallow bowl, add all purpose flour, corn starch, salt and pepper.
Add water gradually and make flowing consistency batter.
Keep the slurry ready.

Shaping:
Take two tsp of potato mixture and shape into a oval dumpling.
Dip into slurry so that it is coated well and immediately into bread crumbs.
Keep this prepared nugget in a plate.
Prepare rest of the nuggets the same way.
Cover and freeze for 30 mins.

Frying:
Heat oil on medium high.
Fry these nuggets for 30 secs or until golden in batches.
Keep them aside.
Potato Nuggets are ready.
Serve hot as they are or with any dip of your choice. Enjoy!
